A : How do I book an appointment ?
B : Appointment are booked online. To book an appointment, click here.We encourage you to schedule your Spa services well in advance of your visit to ensure the widest selection of treatments and appointment times.
A : How long in advance can I book an appointment ?
B : Due to the high demand, please book your appointment several days in advance. However, if available, you can book up to one hour before the session.
A : What is the Spa’s cancellation policy?
B : We respectfully ask that you give the Spa a minimum of 24 hours notice if you must cancel an appointment. Groupon vouchers will be redeemed if you fail to cancel your appointment within 24 hours.
A : What time should I arrive for my Spa service(s)?
B : We ask that you arrive at The Spa at least 10 minutes prior to the start time of your first scheduled service.
A : Can I book an appointment the same day ?
B : Yes, as long as you book at least one hour in advance.
A : I forgot to bring money at my appointment, but would like to pay later. Can I get the massage ?
B : No. All payments without exception have to be made before the massage.
A : I would like to buy a package. What do I do ?
B : You can buy a package at the clinic with the therapist. If you pay in advance at least 2 sessions, We record your first name and last name in our registry. To book the next session, book online in the package and use the same name that you used when you bought your package. You can send family and friends for massage using your package, but it is important to use your name when you book online.
A : How can I pay at the clinic?
B : We take Cash, Visa, Debit Cards. We do not take American Express, MasterCard or cheques.
A : Is my information confidential ?
B : Yes, your information is 100% confidential.
A : Is there any paperwork to do ?
B : Yes. When you arrive the first time at your appointment, you will have to fill a medical history form as well as a waiver. We require both filled and signed in order to proceed with the massage.
A : Do you have female or male therapists ?
B : We have female therapists only.
A : Can I come with a friend and have the massage in the same room ?
B : Yes, we provide massages in private rooms.
A : What happens if I am late for my appointment ?
B : Arriving late will limit the time for your spa treatment, lessening its effectiveness and your enjoyment. As your service was reserved at a specific time, your treatment will end at its set time so that the next guest is not inconvenienced and the full treatment price will apply.
A : Where exactly is the My Thai Thai massage ?
B : For new clients, please make sure to check our location here. We are located inside the medical clinic building on the third floor . Please make sure to check Google Maps. We are at Hurontario street in Mississauga, not in Toronto.
A : Do I have to pay for parking ?
B : No, free parking is available at the clinic.
A : I arrived at the clinic, but nobody is at the counter, what do I do ?
B : If no one is at the counter, please have a sit in the waiting area, the therapist will come to greet you at the time of your appointment.
A : What type of massage do you provide? Can I make special requests ?
B : We practice Traditional Thai Massage. However, you can request the Therapist to practice Swedish/Deep Tissue massage or to concentrate on a certain area to treat your symptoms.
A : Are you Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) ? Can I have my insurance cover for the fee?
B : My Thai Thai Massage provides Therapeutic Massage by Licensed Therapist. We do not provide services by Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Talk to your insurance about the coverage.
A : Do you provide sexual services?
B : Absolutely not ! Our massage services are therapeutic and non-sexual. We are located in a medical clinic. We have ZERO tolerance for any requests of sexual nature. Any client making such requests will be excluded immediately and indefinitely.
A : What should I wear for the massage ?
B : Loose clothes are better. The massage can be done clothes on or clothes off (but you have to keep you bra/underwear). We provide clean surgical scrubs that you can wear if you are not comfortable wearing your own clothes, or wearing just your underwear. Our therapists are fully trained in proper draping procedures to ensure your privacy and comfort.
A : Do your therapists speak English?
B : Yes, all our therapists speak English. And of course, they speak Thai !
A : I am pregnant, can I get a massage ?
B : For safety purposes, we are not able to provide massage therapy for pregnant women.
A : Can I bring my pet with me ?
B : For safety purposes and for respect to the patients in the medical clinic, we do not allow pets.
A : Can I bring my children with me ? Can my child have massage therapy ?
B : As The Spa is an adult area, we respectfully request that guests do not bring their children to services with them. The Spa is reserved for adults 18 and over. We also do not provide massage therapy to customers that are less than 18 years old.
A : I have a special medical condition and I think that having massage will make me feel better. Can I get a massage?
B : We recommend that you check with your physician before visiting The Spa. Please notify us of any special needs or concerns when you book your services. Your therapist will also briefly review your health history with you before beginning your service. If she believes that the service you are scheduled for is unsafe based on any information given, she may recommend cancelling the service, booking another service or modifying the service to make it safe for you. As we are most concerned about your safety and comfort, the Spa reserves the right to refuse service to any guest at any time.
